Bill Bubenicek
William (Bill) Bubenicek has led a diverse life as an entrepreneur with domestic and international experience in various industries. Bill has 15 years’ experience as a founder/entrepreneur and operator. Bill has founded multiple companies, working in the trenches and building companies from the ground up to the boardroom, across multiple continents and 40+ countries. Bill’s core strengths are in business development, corporate strategy, capital raising and corporate structure. Bill is currently the CEO of ConnectM Technology Solutions, director at Ecovent Systems, non-executive director at Cambridge Clean Energy Ltd, and managing partner at Gray Lady Boston.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Business from the State University of New York at Albany and a Master’s in Executive Business Administration (MBA) from Colorado Technical University. Bill is active in advising start-ups and actively invests in emerging market companies and entrepreneurs. Outside of business, Bill enjoys various activities including Sailing, Skiing/Snowboarding, Guitar/Music, Hunting/Fishing, Martial Arts, Boxing, Yoga, Golf, Cooking, Painting and plenty of travel.
Conor O'Mahony
Conor has a strong track record of scaling organizations to successful business outcomes. He has successfully led multiple Boston-based startups through positive liquidation events. Conor's core strengths are in product management, general management, and operations. In addition, Conor actively advises startups in the Boston area.
Conor is a member of the Boston product management community, participating in both the Boston Product Executive Forum and the Boston Head of Product group. In addition, Conor has served on the Board of Directors of the Boston Product Management Association.
Originally from Ireland, Conor enjoys traveling and new experiences. Conor particularly enjoys hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities with his family.
Jim Heising
Jim has twenty-two years experience as an engineer and entrepreneur spanning industries from e-commerce, mobile and IoT. As co-founder and CTO of Click Commerce, Inc. he worked with C-level management at Accenture, American Standard, Brunswick, Kawasaki, Komatsu, Microsoft, and more to navigate the pioneering days of e-commerce in the manufacturing sector. Jim has led engineering groups at Microsoft and numerous VC-backed startups in Chicago, Seattle, and the Silicon Valley. As a VP at the startup GIANT Company, he helped facilitate its acquisition by Microsoft in 2004. Jim still makes time to architect and build software and is the creator of popular IoT services dweet.io, and freeboard.io.
Nathan Cassano
Nathan has twenty years software engineering and product development experience working in the telecom, electronic payment and mobile industries. Founder of Bubble Zap Games a top tier app developer with over 50 million product installs worldwide. Nathan has spent half his career at startup companies spearheading the research and development of new product endeavors delivering them to full market realization. Specializes in embedded development, real-time system simulations, SDK development and platform architect. He enjoys online gaming, flying racing drones, machining and creating robot mechs with his son.
Greg Haungs
Greg brings cross-industry experience and a background of research psychology to the Aurai Platform. As a former data analyst, Greg looks to help our customers share the information hidden within data. He has a goal of making products simple to enhance the productivity and enjoyment for all who use them. An avid guitarist and musician, Greg can be found gigging around the greater Boston area or writing and recording across multiple genres. On the weekends, you’ll find Greg mountain biking or bouldering at the local rock gym.
Nick Lancaster
Nick is the mechanical engineering and algorithm mastermind behind Ecovent’s technical development. He has nine years’ experience in architecture development, mechanical engineering design and testing, and control systems for missile defense, and he holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M and an MSEE from the University of Pennsylvania. When Nick isn’t building vents, he is spending time with his three children, two dogs, two horses, and loving wife. He also loves to play soccer and dreams of the day he will complete his Jeep rebuild.
